About

From law school to the code editor

I’m Tenma, a law student at Universitas Terbuka. Alongside my studies, I have started building websites as side work.

Studying law has taught me to read rules carefully, build arguments step by step, and think about risks before they happen. Those habits carry over to web work: requirements are written down clearly, user data is handled with care, and every agreement is put in writing.

I am still early in my journey as a developer. That is why I prefer to show evidence you can check yourself: demo sites that are actually online, automated tests, and Lighthouse scores listed in every case study.

I build the projects on this site with the help of an AI coding assistant (Claude Code). I don’t ask you to take their quality on faith; it is backed by automated tests and measurements whose results you can see.

Workflow

From consultation to handover

Every project follows the same steps, so you always know what is being worked on and what has been agreed.

  1. Consultation

We talk through the website’s goals, requirements, reference examples, deadline, and budget range.

  2. Proposal and written agreement

I send a proposal covering scope, schedule, and cost. Once you approve it, we sign an agreement that sets out payment terms, revision limits, handover, confidentiality, and copyright ownership of the code.

  3. Design

The page structure and initial design are agreed before any coding starts.

  4. Development

The website is built in stages, and you can follow the progress on a staging address.

  5. Testing

Automated tests, layout checks on phones and desktops, and speed and accessibility measurements with Lighthouse.

  6. Handover

The website is deployed to your hosting, and the code, access, and a short guide are handed over as agreed.

  7. Maintenance (optional)

Security updates, backups, and small fixes as agreed.
