Clean, secure websites from a developer who understands the law.
I’m Tenma, a law student at Universitas Terbuka who has just started doing web development on the side. I build company profiles, landing pages, online stores, and simple information systems, with personal data protection and clear working agreements in mind from day one.
A business website is more than how it looks. There is customer data to protect, agreements to get right, and copyrights to respect.
(1)
Personal data protection
I design forms and databases to collect only what is needed, show a privacy notice, and delete data that is no longer required, in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).
(2)
Written agreements
Scope, schedule, payment terms, revision limits, and handover are agreed in writing before work starts, with attention to the requirements for a valid agreement under Article 1320 of the Indonesian Civil Code.
(3)
Clear copyright
I only use assets with clear licenses and record their sources. Copyright ownership of the code is set out in the agreement, with reference to Indonesia’s Copyright Law (Law No. 28 of 2014).
